Who we are

Phi is an early-stage energy and compute venture based in Sydney, NSW, founded by Miswin Mahesh. You can contact us about privacy at phi@homesign.com.au.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect your name, email address, postcode (optional), whether you are interested as a homeowner, investor or partner, and whether you have rooftop solar. Our server also records the time of your sign-up and your IP address to help prevent spam.

Why we collect it

We use your details to contact you about the Phi pilot, to decide which suburbs to start in, and, if you're an investor or partner, to follow up about Phi's fundraising and partnerships. We don't sell your details and we don't use them for unrelated marketing.

Where it's kept

Waitlist details are stored on our web host's servers and in our email. We take reasonable steps to protect them from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and only the founder has access to them.

Sharing

We only share your details with service providers who help us run Phi (such as our web and email hosts), or where the law requires it. If we ever need to share them with anyone else, for example an installation partner for the pilot, we'll ask you first.

Access, correction and removal

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing phi@homesign.com.au. You can also ask us to stop contacting you, and we will.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, email us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
